Los Angeles has been known to have three hundred days of sun per year. However, our session did not coincide with one of those exceedingly common days. Is that ever a problem? Though the common sentiment towards cloudy versus sunny is that cloudy days are gloomy, I think my resolute answer to that question is ‘no’. Why? The way I primarily work with natural light is something that soft, cloudy light helps tremendously in, especially around midday.
