The University of Southern California (USC) campus, with its blend of historic and modern architecture, offers a picturesque setting for graduation portraits. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Taylor, a master's graduate now working in the entertainment industry. Taylor's choice of attire—a sophisticated white tube dress paired with distinctive golden serpentine stiletto sandals—added a touch of elegance to her official USC graduation regalia, which included a sash, robe, cap, and master's hood.
We captured Taylor's portraits at the many iconic USC photo spots, such as Mudd Hall, Tommy Trojan, Center for International and Public Affairs, Doheny Library, and Bovard Administration Building. I've crafted an extensive guide to these locations to showcase all the beautiful backdrops USC has to offer.
Capturing moments in these iconic locations highlighted not only Taylor’s accomplishments but also the pride and excitement that comes with completing this chapter at USC. As a graduation photographer, I aim to create portraits that reflect each graduate’s personal journey and connection to their university. It’s incredibly rewarding to craft images that celebrate not only the academic milestone but also the memories and experiences that make their time at USC unforgettable.
