Located right by the Rio Hondo, a tributary of the Los Angeles River, lies the Rio Hondo Golf Course. The clubhouse also serves as beautiful wedding and special events venue, operated by Wedgewood Weddings. Their venue is complete with a raised hill, which rises above and overlooks the golf course, functioning as a picturesque ceremony site. To top it off, they even have wonderfully designed waterfall, serving as an iconic backdrop for any couples getting married at Rio Hondo.

An occasionally overlooked part of the wedding day planning is where you might be getting ready the morning of. Having photographed many weddings throughout the years, I highly recommend choosing a stylish location for getting ready. A great example here - the Embassy Suites in Downey and its ornate and colorful aesthetic pairs extremely well with the overall colors and theme of the event.

With such well-thought out details of the day, it was no wonder that Stephanie and Nerris' wedding turned out beautifully! It was certainly a day filled with love, laughter, and tears and we were honored to be a part of it!
