As a graduation portrait photographer, I help direct my subjects to pose in ways that are elegant, flattering, and accomplished. In this image, I wanted to make use of the golden light streaming from behind and create a sense of ethereal beauty and wonder by having the graduate look off into the distance in a way that is both optimistic and confident.
